This recipe is inspired from @meghanasfoodmagic ❤️ and added few other ingredients of my choice😜


Usually we would eat aloo paratha and different varieties in paratha, but this variation is something that is must try and interesting one🤤


This is a rich protien recipe and  perfect one for a  vegetarian who is opting for protien.


You wouldn't even imagine how great does it taste. 


It is made using petite yellow lentils/ moong dal by soaking it for 2 hours.

INGREDIENTS📝: 


Moong dal/ persara pappu - 1cup


Salt


Turmeric powder- pinch


Wheat flour


Oil/ghee - 2tsp


Jeera/cumin seeds- 1tsp


Asafoetida/Hing - pinch


Dhaniya powder/coriander powder- 1tsp


Turmeric- 1/2 tsp

 

Garam masala- 1/4 tsp


Red Chilli powder- 1/2 tsp


Finely chopped onions- 1



LET'S COOK🥣:


1. Wash and Soak moong dal/pesara pappu for atleast 2hours.


2. Now in a vessel add moong dal, pinch of salt, turmeric powder and water as required and let it cook upto 80%/half cooked. Don't over cook it. Let it be little grainy or as we say kacha pakka.


3. Now for making parathas prepare a dough    by adding a little oil and a pinch of salt in it. Dough must be a little harder. Rest the dough for some time until dal cooks.


4. Now check whether moongdal is half cooked.


5. Drain the water completely and spread it on a kitchen towel or a tissue to remove the excess moisture which helps to prevent sogginess in paratha.


6. Now in a pan add 2tsp oil/ghee.


7. Add 1tsp jeera/cumin seeds, pinch of Hing/asafoetida, dhaniya/coriander powder, haldi/turmeric powder, finely chopped onions, garam masala, mirchi powder, salt and mix well.


8. Now add cooked dal into it and mix well by pressing and mashing it a little with the spoon.


9. Now finally add salt as required, chopped coriander leaves, mix well and leave it to cool.


10. Now make the dough to small portions spread a little and add this stuffing in the centre and close it by bringing all the sides together.


11. Now roll this flat carefully and keep it a little fat.


12. Fry them on a pan by adding a little ghee/oil.
