
So today I've harvested this fresh palak/spinach from our kitchen garden🥬
As it is lunch time I've made this yummy palak dal/palakura pappu with it🤤❤️
Seriously, what could even satisfy us when we cook with these fresh home grown leaves🤷🏻♀️
It is healthy way and even much more tastier😋
I've combined it with plain steamed rice and ghee🤤. That tastes heaven❤️
INGREDIENTS📝:
Kandi pappu/Toor dal- 1cup
Palak/spinach
Green chillies- 3
Turmeric- 1/2tsp
Salt
Chilli powder -1tbsp
Oil
Garlic -3 pods
Dried red chillies -2
Curry leaves
Mustard seeds
Jeera
Hing
LET'S COOK🥣:
1. Wash dal and add in a cooker, pour 2 cups water, turmeric, palak leaves, crushed garlic, green chillies and cook for 4 whistles.
2. Check whether dal is cooked and add chilli powder, salt and mix well.
3. Now to a kadai add little oil, mustard seeds, jeera, dried red chillies, curry leaves, garlic pods, hing and mix well.
4. Now add this tampering into dal and cook for 5 mins.
Yummy healthy palak dal is ready 😋❤️
