INGREDIENTS FOR UGGANI:
jeera and mustard seeds
Onion
Green chilli-8 slit
Curry leaves
Tomato
Ginger garlic paste
Salt
Turmeric
Oil
Groundnut
roasted chana dal/Putnala pappu(telugu)
Murmura/puffed rice
coriander leaves.
INGREDIENTS FOR BAJJI:
Onion
Gram flour
Salt
Chilli powder
Coriander powder
Turmeric
Ginger garlic paste
Baking soda
LET'S COOK:
(UGGANI)
1.Add 4tsp oil to a kadai.
Add jeera, mustard seeds, curry leaves, turmeric powder,chopped onions, green chilli and mix well.
2.Now add ground nuts and let them fry for a while.
3.Add chopped tomatoes, ginger garlic paste and mix well and fry until soft.
soak murmura for 2 mins in water.
4.Squeeze and remove all the water from murmura and add in kadai.
roast groundnut and roasted dal/putnalu and grind to a coarse powder and add it in the kadai.
5.Now give a nice mix to it until all the ingredients combine.
Finally add coriander leaves.
Uggani is ready....!
BAJJI RECIPE:
1.To a bowl add gram flour, salt, chilli powder, turmeric powder,chopped onions, coriander powder,Baking soda.
2.Add water as required and make it like a thick batter.
3.To a kadai add oil for deep fry and let it heat.
4.Drop this batter in the heated oil little by little to form bajji.
fry them on medium flame until golden brown.
Bajji is ready to serve with uggani......
